This assessment allows a dermatologist to assess your skin for prescribed skincare

Terms of use

This assessment allows a dermatologist to assess your skin history for a suitable prescribed skincare regimen.

It is up to the doctors discretion to decide what treatments will be prescribed however your preferences will be considered.

If a prescription is offered, it is up to the doctors discretion to decide on the duration of treatment provided on the prescription, although this is usually 12 months'.  

The process of issuing a prescription may take up to 2-3 business days.

Fees

The cost of this process is $100.

If it is deemed unsuitable for the doctor to issue you with a prescription, you will receive a refund of your payment.

Alternatively, you may wish to arrange a consultation with a dermatologist at Melbourne Skin & Dermatology.  The fee for a face-to-face consultation with a dermatologist is $285.  No rebates from Medicare are available for cosmetic consultations.
